To maintain our standard of quality workmanship, all IMC technicians have completed a rigorous five-year HVAC/R training program prior to their many years of field experience. From small commercial to large industrial applications, they prove their ability as commercial HVAC contractors to provide installation, service, and repair of HVAC equipment.
Since our founding in 1970 by Joseph L. Zielke, Industrial Mechanical Contractors has built a reputation of expertise and excellent service in commercial heating and air conditioning. We have worked with many retail centers, office buildings, and senior living facilities in the region from design/build to maintenance agreements. Over the years, IMC expanded relationships with the developers building new shopping centers, and we continued to service the commercial tenants in these building sites.
In 1987, Wayne J. Zielke broadened the IMC Service Division, and soon began servicing over 30 senior living facilities, many with over 200 units. In 1998, he became President of the company and continues in this position, maintaining the values of his father.
Currently, Wayne J. Zielke, Jr. and Michael R. Zielke are the third generation of the family to work in the business. As we welcome each new generation, our values remain the same as 1970 – provide our clients with a quality installation and superior service for their mechanical needs.
As mechanical contractors, IMC has serviced schools, factories, retail buildings, senior housing facilities, apartments, office buildings, and other commercial spaces.
Clients include Human Good, Keystone Property Group, Ametek, Wesley Enhanced Living, Kimco Realty, Gemalto, Inc., Horst Construction, Life Time Fitness, Morton Salt, New Foundations Charter School, Paramount Realty, Sunrise Senior Living and McBrick Building Group. We also service an additional 30 senior housing facilities with over 200 units, including the luxury retirement complex at Dunwoody Village.
